Fire & PAT Testing Services Cornwall can provide your business with fire extinguishers to cover all fire risks:

Water is still one of the most useful and cost effective of all available fire extinguishers. It is limited in it's use as it can only be used on Class A materials, but, as Class A materials (wood, paper, textiles) are by far the most common fuel source it is no surprise that the Water Extinguisher is so widely chosen.

Foam extinguishers are more expensive than water, but more versatile. Used for Classes A & B fires. Foam spray extinguishers are not recommended for fires involving electricity, but are safer than water if inadvertently sprayed onto live electrical apparatus.

Dry Powder is a highly versatile Class A, B & C fire-fighting medium suitable for most risks. In addition to dealing with electrical hazards, flammable liquids and gases, powder is also effective for vehicle fires. It is an ideal choice for both industrial and domestic premises. Highly effective against petrol and volatile liquids they are perfect for use in vehicles.

CO2 is suitable for electrical equipment, Class B fires and is recognised for its non-damaging highly effective performance and cleanliness. Because the gas is harmless to delicate equipment and materials, it is ideal for modern office environments, all electrical risks and where oils, spirits, solvents and waxes are in use

All fire extinguishers supplied by us are Manufactured and tested under an ISO 9000 Quality System accredited by BSI in accordance with BS EN3 ' 5 Year Guarantee.
